Still in search of a Valentine’s crush? Look no further than some of our favourite artists’ February 14th inspired makeup looks.
An array of lustrous lovers and cupid cuties filled our Instagram feed this week with pastel pink wigs playing the concurrent role.
Regardless of your relationship status, spend the night with your true love – the one that never lets you down, always makes you feel beautiful and exists for the singular purpose of upping your confidence – your makeup stash. (Wine is optional but recommended).
Cry Your Heart Out
We’re convinced @lucxfurr breaks hearts just with that killer look of hers. The super stylish lovely opted for a smoky pink wig with fringe that suits her beautiful face perfectly. The aptly named Bloodlust Liquid Lipstick by Baby Bat Beauty was applied to the lips for the first look, and doubles up as a sleek eyeliner for the second.
Although we’re yet to find a colour that doesn’t suit this angelic creature, we have to confess to loving @suezochan in pink the most. Our Valentine's Day wish came true with a matching outfit to boot! This kawaii inspired, adorable look features the pastel pink bob lace front wig and perfectly coordinated eyeshadow from Beauty Bay’s EYN Bright 9 Colour Palette.
We never need an excuse to break out the sparkle, and we think it makes this dreamy look by @isabelle_makeup_ even sweeter. The two-tone chunky glitter by The Glitter Army complements the pretty hearts, and cleverly ties in the long pastel pink wig to complete the look.
This wonderfully creative artist never fails to inspire and her Valentines masterpiece is giving us neon lit, modern day Cupid vibes. The Flamingo Fizz Wig was @artbeautychaos’ pastel pink wig of choice, with that beautiful afro look easily achieved by separating the curls or pushing strands vertically, towards the crown. The fantastical pink skin was created with the UV Dayglow Palette by Kryolan and KVD’s Everlasting Lip Liner on the brows makes a glorious touch.
Super cute, cutie @likaloony is simply scrumptious also wearing the Flamingo Fizz Wig. This contrasting look is a perfect portrayal of this unique wig and how it appears straight out of the bag, with no styling. Lika’s flawless skin is amplified with All Matt Shine Control and Highlighting Powder by Catrice Cosmetics. The Love You So Mochi Palette by NYX was used to create those heavenly, pastel rainbow blended eyes.
Lusting after this work of art by @freyaameldarose, we seriously want it framed and on the wall. Love the multiple shades of pink, entirely created using products from Shrine and finished off with our original and ever popular wavy pastel pink wig.
Goddess Of Love
A goddess in whatever form she takes, @gothpixi has us all loved up thanks to her pretty, pink Cupid design. The admirably versatile artist opted for the long pastel pink crimped wig to enhance her showpiece, created with the help of Paradise Paints by Mehron and the Blood Sugar Palette by Jeffree Star Cosmetics.
Pastel goth perfection courtesy of our beauty bff @isabelle_makeup_. If the smoky eye and dark lipstick combo is your vibe, a pastel pink wig adds a clever, contrasting twist that really makes those features pop. Issy absolutely slays the pink and blonde split wig and her to die for lashes are ‘Everlong’ by Unicorn Cosmetics.
We couldn’t leave out the alternative anti-Valentine's look and @sara_strange_art went and nailed it. This gorgeously grotesque design features pigments by Sugarpill, Epic Ink Liners by NYX and is completed by the mid length pastel pink wig.
